>God Bless you… you've found the right lady. She told me stories about her radio days (since I was in radio, too)
>I actually believe I knew Gitta when she was a foreign exchange student attending Crane Jr. High in Victoria, Texas.
We were all struck by her beauty as well as her kind demeanor. I'm fairly sure I have the right person. She was interviewed on our local radio and entertained everyone with her commentary and delightful personality.
My deepest condolences.

I saw this sight on the greifnet, the children whose parents have passed away. My dad passed on May 15, 2006 of prostate cancer, I was with him when he passed, it was the hardest thing I have ever been through. I wanted to say, that I noticed that your mom was a hospice caretaker, and hospice helped my mom, my brother and I care for my dad in his last couple of weeks, and they were so helpful and comforting. It is a thankless, and I am sure extremely difficult profession, and hospice caretakers touch people's lives, for however long or short of a time. What a wonderful thing your mom did for people and their families.

Andy & family – so sorry to hear of your loss. Your mother was a fascinating and loving woman. I'll remember her love of dancing; especially the movie "The Red Shoes". Thoughts and prayers for peace for you all.

Aunt Gita will always hold a special place in my heart. She was one of the most beautiful women I ever knew. Very fond memories of her when she visited us in Midland and our family and hers spent time snowed in at their home in Clovis,NM. I remember our 2 families were together on the weekend when Woodstock was taking place. She, Uncle Phillip and I thought Janis Joplin was the best! So sorry for your loss. She will be missed.
