How to commit Twitter suicide

Over 7 thousand followers. Impressed? Not sure I am anymore. My timeline has turned into nothing but mostly junk mail. I’m starting to lose my ‘True Fans” because of all the noise. I’m considering starting from scratch. I’ll be using this app to wipe the “following” slate:

I’ll be warning my timeline readers very often over the month my future intentions. I will also be going through my lists to “refollow back” the accounts I’m still interesting in receiving status updates from.

So, give me your thoughts, please… will this drastic move be committing Twitter suicide?
